National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
The NDIS provides funding to eligible people with disability or children (0-7 years) who need access to early intervention support. We accept NDIS funding for self-managed and plan-managed participants.
Private Health Insurance
If your child has private health insurance they may be eligible for a rebate on some speech pathology services. Please check with your health fund regarding your policy and level of cover for speech pathology services. The item numbers used are: 320 (for the assessment session) and 340 (for therapy sessions).
Chronic Disease Management plan (CDM)
Your child may be eligible for a Medicare rebate on some speech pathology services. A CDM plan provides a maximum of 5 rebates per calendar year. Speak to your GP to determine if you are eligible for a CDM plan.
